Alia is sensible, sorted and a level headed girl

She also puts it in a very confident manner without making it arrogant

Like when pc spoke about awards, i sensed confidence but also bitterness and arrogance

In alia's case i see an amazing zest, a huge amount of positivity and it is refreshing to see that

Nooo! Not a Mani Ratnam film..Please! I have to root for her other films coz they are by directors I like or with actors I like. Psh.

Curious, why don't you like Mani Ratnam or his films? He is known as one of the best film makers of India. I don't know if the movie would have made money but knowing Alia's talent I think the critics would have loved her.

I absolutely love Ratnam and his movies..One of my favourite directors! 😳

Alia-not so much. Specially after the AIB episode. She's a good actor-I'll give her that. But I'd prefer Ratnam cast someone else.

Mani Rathnam is working on a Tamil-Malayalam Bilingual film right now. I don't think there's any other confirmed project, at present. I might be wrong though. However last film of MR was really not upto the mark, hope he strikes back with this bilingual film.

When SOTY released, I was really apprehensive about her and thought she is just some one movie wonder but now I think the same like many others maybe I mixed up Alia and Shanaya.

Her choice of movies so far is the best and she knows what she wants from her life. It's like in school some kids are born to be toppers while some work hard to be a topper, some are average and some fail. While Alia to me is like a topper, who knows what she wants, works towards it and lets her work speak for her.

I have become a fan of her after watching Highway and realised that at times we just hate/bash for no reason and play the nepotism card way too much on star kids.

And hope she wins awards if she continues to play good characters and stays away from flower-pot roles and please run as fast as you can if offered any movies with Khans/Ajay/Akki.
