Tabu was out of the Bollywood scene a very long time ago. I don't even remember a movie from the 90s where she had carried it entirely on her shoulders. The same applies to Sonali and Shilpa Shetty. Overall? You are right that none of the ladies above including Tabu made much mark in commercial Bollywood. But Tabu got some roles that really showcased her talent even though the movies didn't do well. I think one of those was a movie called Maachis (sp). So while she never made it big commercially she was able prove her strong acting chops over the years. That is why she's more relevant and even much more respected as an artist than the other two, or perhaps more than a lot of others as well.

She is given limelight coz she is one of the best actresses in history of indian cinema..she deserves the respect and if she can outshine the entire cast of haider..she must have something in her

I raised objection over her absence from the cinema over the course of time. So now all of a sudden she decides to come back with so much limelight? 😕

and this is the same banner which gave us 'gems' like the all-time classic MPKDH and the utterly regressive Vivah 😵 so how does PRDP sound any better esp. when you have pathetic actors like Sonam, Neil and Armaan Kohli🤢 on board? and Salman might be a megastar or whatever but that guy can't act to save his life!

so good choice Tabu! you are a talented actress, so you must continue playing substantial roles in meaningful cinema like Haider and Namesake. Avoid garbage like Jai Ho and PRDP.

OMG..PRDP is from the same makers as MPKDH..and we were hyping it like it is another movie by hirani. Those makers worked back in the 90s now their style of filmmaking is dated..could as well be another jai ho..also sonam and neil and armaan kohli..is film mein koi acha actor hai kia?
