TABU Rejects SALMAN'S Offer

That Tabu adds weight to a film is well known; in fact, recently, there were clamors that she be nominated in the Best Actress category for Haider instead of being in the supporting actress group. Her close friend Salman Khan has been encouraging her to work more and now he has offered her a guest appearance in his forthcoming movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Tabu had earlier done a special appearance in Salman's Jai Ho only due to her personal equation with the superstar, but this time, she isn't very interested. The graceful actress usually takes up a role only if she feels she can do it justice and banners or the money she is offered is secondary. Tabu says, " It has to suit my sensibility and my onscreen image. I confess that sometimes I do films for my friends. That's what I call working on my own terms,". While she has not yet given a reply to Salman, people close to her say that she is still debating on the role as well as reading other scripts adding "She is yet to make up her mind about her next assignments."

Tabu adds a special touch to any role that she takes up..we're waiting to see what she signs on next!

Tabu was out of the Bollywood scene a very long time ago. I don't even remember a movie from the 90s where she had carried it entirely on her shoulders. The same applies to Sonali and Shilpa Shetty. Yes, they both were important cinematic figures back then, but then honestly, they really didn't do much.

so why is Tabu being given so much limelight, I wonder.
