Is Sonam that bad?

I just loved her Sakina in Saawariya
She was pretty good in Delhi 6 as bitto
In between she did a film called Aisha in which she was above average
She was superb in Ranjhana
Last year She was quite good in Khoobsurat too ..All these performances can not be neglected ..She did make wrong choices ..But her choice of roles have not been bad ..

Why this forum always try to put her down .. No matter how brilliant Fawad was Khoobsurat was about Sonam and she was amazing for me

I like Sonam, her performances are not neglected. It's just that her screen presence, or performances don't outshine other performances. I think what SLB got out of her was really good. To this date I find her Saawariya performance the best. I wish she would get more endearing roles. Her choices have not been horrible, intact I think I liked her in mausam. I just think directors need to push her harder, and believe in her more.

Honestly, I dont think she is bad. This is the first time I am commenting on a post related to her. I think we all over analyze every litlle thing that a celeb does or says. I agree her dialogue delivery ain't that great but she doesn't put me off.

People on this forum always try to put someone or the other down.

I just think she's a below average actress based on what I've seen which is nothing special all the other stuff people make jokes about I don't know.

Who says she's looked down? Career wise, she's on par with Uday Chopra (am not lying, check her films record) have you seen any Uday Chopra/Tushar/Abhishek/Asin topic where they aren't made fun of? Or they even have fans here? Tushar and Abhishek's career record is better than her.Yet she has quite a good fan following inside/outside Internet world despite an unsuccessful career which is a good thing.And everyone is made fun of here.And everyone is ridiculed as well.I don't think Sonam is made too much fun of.
I personally think she can act well.Its better if you watch her movies with mute.she has more expression when minus her super-irritating voice.
She was good in Delhi6 and Raanjhana.And though Aayesha is highly loved here, I found the movie really bad just like most cinegoers found it.
Deepika and Sonam both were equally bad debuts of 2007.But still Deepika won the race though Sonam was a lot better as Zoya than Deepika's Leela.

Nope, she ain't that bad at all. Putting her down and the constant hate for her on this forum is considered very fashionable. Bandwagoning is a favourite past-time of folks here. Once an actress/actor is at the top, they'll join her/his worshipping bandwagon but forget the actor just as easily when they fall from grace. A very good example of that is Kangana. I'll never forget how all of a sudden she became everyone's favourite here after Queen and now there's no mention of her on the very forum. 😆

Watch how the very same folks who hate on her currently become her so called 'fans' after one of her films become successful.

Notice how the only folks that put her down are the so called neutral folks. 😆

Regardless of self proclaimed critics, I like Sonam and her movies, don't have much issue with her acting either. Not everyone can be Aamir 😆 Her movies are fun and repeat value for me #Chick-lits #WootWoot
