Hawaaizaada to Roy: 5 Bollywood trailers you should not miss

With almost 200 films released in 2014, Bollywood fans are gearing up for another spectacular new year and some interesting films. The last two months of 2014 saw the release of a string of trailers that can give any movie buff another reason to rejoice cinema.

Be it Ayushmann Khurrana's film on the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade or Sonam Kapoor's new avatar as a con woman. The films lined up in the first quarter of 2015 are not just intriguing in terms of content but will also present Bollywood's stars in a new avatar.

With each passing year, the filmmakers are experimenting with new themes and even the actors don't shy away from taking up challenges. And, films like Badlpaur, Hawaaizaada and Dolly Ki Doli are the perfect examples of it.

Hawaaizaada: After Farhan and Priyanka, Ayushmann Khurrana is the new actor to join the bandwagon of biopics. Hawaaizaada trailer takes you back in time and reminds you of Leonardo DiCaprio's The Aviator. Ayushmann plays the role of a scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who made India's first unmanned plane. The trailer shows the struggle of Talpade who is keen to follow his dream.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy: The detective is back! Set in 1943, the trailer is high on suspense with a war torn Calcutta shown in one frame and a cold blooded murder in another. Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the film is one of the most anticipated films of 2015.

Roy: A love triangle is what Bollywood fans love and Roy offers the same wine in a new bottle. But if you add suspense, thrill and some drama to a love story, the outcome is supposed to be interesting and Roy just nails it with its exciting trailer.

Badlapur: A lover is back to avenge the murder of his girlfriend. High on action and thrill, the trailer of revenge drama Badlapur makes it to our list. Varun plays the role of a murderer and an interesting mix of star cast makes the film a must watch next year.
