PK 16th Day (3rd Saturday) Collection, Good Jump!

PK has collected around 8.3 crore nett on 3rd Saturday (16th day) at box office. Film registered a good jump of around 20-25% from 3rd Friday. Film showed big jump in multiplexes, whereas single screens hold well with reasonable jump in places. PK two day total collection for 3rd week is around 15 crore nett. Film is heading for 25 crore nett weekend now and this is big. PK is set for new benchmark in 3rd week also. PK total collection after 16 days is approx 293.5 crore nett.

PK is set to cross 300 crore nett on 3rd Sunday (Day 17). Thus, it will become first film ever to do so in History of Bollywood movies. PK is setting some unbelievable benchmark which will be very very difficult to break in coming days. Happy days for trade is back with exhibitors smiling big time for continuous three weeks now.

Collection Breakup -

1st Week - 182.95 crore nett.
2nd Week - 95.5 crore nett.
3rd Friday - 6.75 crore nett.
3rd Saturday - 8.3 crore nett.
Total - 293.5 crore nett (approx).

PK 3rd Sunday (17th Day) Collection Update, Set to Touch 300!


PK is doing something big and significant on 3rd Sunday (17th day) at box office. Film is set to touch 300 and thus will go in History as first film in Bollywood to ever do so in Indian Box Office. PK has started good on Morning shows with occupancy in the region of 35%. After that film picked up further to report excellent occupancy of around 55-60% for Noon shows. In fact in many cinemas film is reporting Housefull shows or near about today. This is absolute rarity for films into 3rd week and this tell how much audiences are loving PK.

PK is doing well currently. As for later part of the day film is expected to hold well looking at advances for the day. There will be normal drop in collection in Night shows as tomorrow is working day. But in all likelihood film is expected to collect over 10 crore nett unless there is drastic drop in business in rest of the day shows.

Occupancy Report of PK for 3rd Sunday Noon shows -

Delhi - 50-55%
Gurgaon - 50%
Mumbai - 25-30%
Kanpur - 80-85%
Lucknow - 70%
Pune - 75-80%
Hyderabad - 80-85%


PK has collected 15 crore nett in two days of 3rd week. Looking at trends film is heading for 10-11 crore nett for 3rd Sunday which means 3rd weekend numbers are heading for 25-26 crore nett mark. Magical and dream figures!
