PK has retained around 3450-3500 screens for 2nd week running which is just huge. In fact film retained around 85% screens from 1st week which is excellent news. There are even reports for increase in screen count in few cinemas from last week, which is rarity nowadays. Only Ugly is released in box office which should not pose any problem to PK for sure. With so much screens to play PK is set to record historic 2nd week numbers also at box office. Dhoom 3 all time 2nd week collections are now in danger as trending of PK is better than Dhoom 3.

As for opening of 2nd Friday (8th day), film has opened to 35-40% occupancy in Morning shows which is very good. Occupancy is on par with 1st weekdays. Today being normal working day film should show good jump from Evening onward. So far film has started well and huge second weekend is on cards now.

PK has collected around 184-185 crore nett in 1st week and will cross 200 crore nett by 2nd Saturday at worst case scenario. Film will near Kick or even surpass Kick by 2nd Sunday.
