'PK' continues to smash records

PK continues its record-breaking spree in the overseas markets. It has crossed the 100 CR INR mark in the overseas market after the second weekend.

PK's International GBO stands at approx. USD 17.7 million [112.58 cr INR]. With this, PK is now the Highest Grossing Indian movie of 2014 in the overseas and all time 4th after Dhoom 3, 3 Idiots and My Name is Khan.

PK 2nd Thursday (14th Day) Collection Update, Rocking on New Year Day.

PK has started New Year Day 2015 with bang. Film opened to good occupancy of 35% on 2nd Thursday (14th day) Morning shows which is just below the opening of 2nd Friday. Good news is that occupancy is nearly doubled in Noon shows. That means film Noon shows today is better than that of 2nd Friday. This is extremely good news. Hope film holds well in later part of the day also. PK is currently registering occupancy in the region of 65-70% on average across India. This is big. Places like Delhi, Gurgaon, Kanpur, Lucknow, Pune, Hyderabad all are performing excellent. Mumbai is little bit down, but still registering good occupancy.

Occupancy Report of PK for 2nd Thursday Noon shows -

Delhi - 65-70%
Gurgaon - 80%
Mumbai - 45%
Kanpur - 70%
Lucknow - 80-85%
Pune - 65%
Hyderabad - 90-95%

PK has collected around 82 crore nett in 6 days of second week. Film
has every chance to collect at least 12-13 crore nett for the day looking at the start. If film holds well for later part of the day collection may even go past 14-15 crore nett which is just big.
Film is now expected to collect a bare minimum of 94-95 crore nett in second week which is just never heard of earlier.

So today it should hit 12-13 cr at minimum which takes the grand total to 276-277
