As for religion, well there is little to suggest its anything more than a hoax. It requires total blind faith without even a shred of evidence/logic behind its existence.
There are an awful lot of questions that religion doesnt have an answer for and requires you to take blind leaps of faith without questioning anything.
Now now now.. hold your horses there for one sec , does PK really preach the bullshit highlighted in bold ??.. i thought the movie dealt with "Blind Faith & the problems there within " but here all the religions & its essence are being targeted.. now this could pave way for an endless debate, i have nothing against the film though, since it seems it only goes on to highlight some of the social issues in an entertaining way , that's always a plus in my opinion bcoz that way the social message reaches a large chunk of the audience even though the basic plot is fictional for all intentions & purposes..
The irony in your statements is GLARING evident , on the one hand you claim that a "BLIND FAITH" is MANDATORY for any religion & on the other hand you have no problems accepting aliens theory since a probability for something is always there..isnt your acceptance of "alien theory" which for all intentions & purposes is still fictional, a testimony to your "blind faith" in the film ??.. 😆 .. there is not a shred of CONCRETE evidence to support the "alien theory" as of now & yet you supported it with your own logic..
As far as my knowledge is concerned , ( i still havnt watched the film yet) PK highlights social issues revolving around "Blind Faith" , i dont think it goes on to preach that all religions (specifically Hinduism) is nothing but bullshit as opposed to your comments ..feel free to correct me if i am wrong since it seems you certainly have watched the film .. there is a difference between "Blind Faith" & a "Religion".. a Religion is often in sync with the essence of Humanity & whenever it deviates from this essence, the reason for it can be safely attributed to "Blind Faith".. there is a difference if you really wanna see it..
@ Red : I have said it enough times & i repeat it once again , questioning everything is one of the basic tenets of Hinduism , cant speak for others though , so yes if anybody restricts you from questioning certain beliefs , practices , logic , as a Hindu you have full right to voice your opinion against it as long as you are capable of distinguishing between "questioning" & "mocking"..
