Got from FB :

As per #PK existence of aliens is a hardcore, proven, scientific fact but religion is full of dogmas and superstitions. #IronyKiWasiyat #MahaMegaFacePalm

Finally managed to watch PK. good movie by Hirani, but didn't spellbind me totally. Maybe I expect more from Hirani's movies.
And I sincerely hope that there's in sequel.

Further, I felt that the movie needed to be shorter. At some places, it was damn repetitive.

You would be really dumb to beileve that we are the only ones out there. A universe whose depth we cant even begin to imagine. And there are billions of such universes, of which we dont even contribute the slightest of fraction.

As for religion, well there is little to suggest its anything more than a hoax. It requires total blind faith without even a shred of evidence/logic behind its existence.

There are an awful lot of questions that religion doesnt have an answer for and requires you to take blind leaps of faith without questioning anything.

Followng is the message i got from PK

(2+2)!=5

For Indians: Not all Pakistanis are bad, Ex Sarfaraz in #PKTheFilm. Don't judge a person for his religion, country, color, race. Try to know him first.

For Pakistanis: Not all Indians think ill about Pakistanis. Ex RajKumarHirani and Abhijat Joshi.

For all religious believers: Every religion tells us to be "good" humans. If you say that you believe in God/Allah/Buddha/Krishna then you must follow their teachings. You being a true Hindu/Muslim/Buddhist is in the mind(the way you think) and not in the act. You can say a lot of mantras, you can donate alot of money in temples, you can pour infinite litre of milk for shiv puja. But if are not a good human even God/Allah/Buddha/Krishna can't help you.
That Babba in the film is not a true Hindu, because if he was, he would equally respect other religions. He won't judge a person(Sarfaraz) for being from a certain country(in this case Pakistan) or for believing in some religion other than Hindu(In this case Muslim).

For Human Beings: It's the mind which sees, the mind that creates.

For Everyone(including me): Make an effort to change, change for better.

i wish PK would have exposed MORE PAKHANDH prevailing in this country, remember this is the same country where a big chunk of ppl still live in superstitions, where women believes in TANTRIK, who asks them to murder in the name of God, and they even do that, if PK had raised this issue, i am sure it would have caused even more controversy, but this is one truth too,,,
no where PK tells us to not love our religion or God, but we shouldn't be blind and follow some dhongi babas that give us 'wrong numbers' that's what the message i got from. rest everything ppl is sayin is obviously shit.

may be they r the same who believe in DHONGIS... 🤣 Asaraam Bapu anyone 🤣

Now now now.. hold your horses there for one sec , does PK really preach the bullshit highlighted in bold ??.. i thought the movie dealt with "Blind Faith & the problems there within " but here all the religions & its essence are being targeted.. now this could pave way for an endless debate, i have nothing against the film though, since it seems it only goes on to highlight some of the social issues in an entertaining way , that's always a plus in my opinion bcoz that way the social message reaches a large chunk of the audience even though the basic plot is fictional for all intentions & purposes..

The irony in your statements is GLARING evident , on the one hand you claim that a "BLIND FAITH" is MANDATORY for any religion & on the other hand you have no problems accepting aliens theory since a probability for something is always there..isnt your acceptance of "alien theory" which for all intentions & purposes is still fictional, a testimony to your "blind faith" in the film ??.. 😆 .. there is not a shred of CONCRETE evidence to support the "alien theory" as of now & yet you supported it with your own logic..

As far as my knowledge is concerned , ( i still havnt watched the film yet) PK highlights social issues revolving around "Blind Faith" , i dont think it goes on to preach that all religions (specifically Hinduism) is nothing but bullshit as opposed to your comments ..feel free to correct me if i am wrong since it seems you certainly have watched the film .. there is a difference between "Blind Faith" & a "Religion".. a Religion is often in sync with the essence of Humanity & whenever it deviates from this essence, the reason for it can be safely attributed to "Blind Faith".. there is a difference if you really wanna see it..

@ Red : I have said it enough times & i repeat it once again , questioning everything is one of the basic tenets of Hinduism , cant speak for others though , so yes if anybody restricts you from questioning certain beliefs , practices , logic , as a Hindu you have full right to voice your opinion against it as long as you are capable of distinguishing between "questioning" & "mocking"..
