With that Bhojpuri accent, with those serious eyes, with those ears...IDK...I think there are only selected amount of people that could have played this role.

Salman? I can see him do the acting part, but not the bhojpuri accent convincingly

SRK? I can't see him be that serious and funny at the same time. He would make PK SRK style more than SRK being PK style.

Akshay and Ajay...Ajay isn't that funny, and Akshay I don't think can do the innocence as well as Aamir.

Ranbir, I think he can do it.

Ranveer: Even though Im such a huge fan, I gotta admit I haven't seen enough movies from him to know if he could. I think he can, because I believe in him .

Arjun: No he can't match the comic timing.

Varun: Probably yes with a bit more experience.

SID M: No, just no.

ARK?? No way.

SO for me if I had a list of actors that could possibly play PK it would

be RANBIR, maybe RANVEER, and maybe VARUN.

You have to be able to get lost in the character. Which all these other actors struggle with either because they are already established in a niche, or they are yet still beginners.

Oh and I think Sanjay Dutt could have done PK's role also. I think he's just a little old and not fit enough anymore probably to run around naked. LOL.

Ranbir could have easily done the role, perhaps even SRK, Hrithik, or even Varun could possibly do it...

And in terms of Jaggu's role there was not too much to it... Bebo or for that matter even Pari, Alia, Vani, or even Preity could have done a much better job!

You need to be excellent at comedy and also have the capacity to switch bw comic and serious scenes in an instant without going overboard. Its the thinnest of lines to walk to pull off something as incredible as PK.

I have only seen the likes Harrison Ford( Han Solo and Indy) or Johny Depp(Jack Sparrow) to an extent pull off something like that before.

The way they walk, talk, do even the most random of things, everthing just feels special and out of this world.That is what Iconic performances are and PK is one of them.

Ranbir falls flat in the comedy regard. Only Akshay comes close to Aamir. Effortless comedy is something the very best of the the best can do.

If you have seen the movie the climax kinda proves my point.

Also I feel its not fair to compare Ranbir or anyone for that matter to Aamir in PK's case. He has given such an iconic performance that would be talked and loved for ages to come. Most actors dont even dream to do such stuff even in their wildest dreams.

I see a lot of Ranbirs. He totally could have done it. His guest appearance was spot on and amazing.

In the others I think Hrithik is retarded enough to pull it off. 😆
