Wow. Just ~

This is so sad if true :(
Animals!! 😡

There was a news of about 200+ women being raped, and then killed to be left at mass graves in Ukraine. Of course, the mass media didn't cover it here. Those morons!

They always target women, children, and the weak the most

Congrats Mugda, you have successfully turned this peaceful thread into a religious debate but this is still not enough for you that you keep bringing Quran and islam back to the topic with your half baked information . Please carry on with your rant for those who are easily falling for it .

Oh God ! if only Mugda presents her beliefs free of judgemental bigotary tone , she could actually participate in the discussion .. but i guess thats a long lost cause now ..

Mugda , an honest question , what are you really trying to do here ?.. are you trying to intentionally abuse Islam or are you just presenting honest opinions ? ..on second thoughts , nevermind , going by the nature of your frequent topics in this forum its not that difficult to gauge what you are going for here.. 😔

Can y'all please make a new topic if you want to discuss religion. I made this thread to spread awareness about what is going on today, the news about a massacre, about 140+ innocents losing their lives. And to keep their families, loved ones in our thoughts and pray the little ones are in a better place.

There is nothing wrong with discussing religion, but it might be a better idea to make a separate thread for it.

What you call the three aspects of reality, I call them as gods as I am a religious person. One can be spiritual as well as religious. By using the term god I am simplifying it for better understanding.

When I call ram and Krishna as vishnu avatars means they have subscribed to the vaishnav ideology or the representation of preservation or moderation to guide the humanity to the righteous path. And hence they are my spiritual gurus or gods that I look upto and try to follow their teachings. I don't believe they will give me some divine power if I do pooja aarti. It's only for my spiritual well being that I do what I do. They are my gods, guides, ancestors, leaders, spiritual or religious gurus. It could be a myth for you but for me they have existed on the planet and I believe in them and their ideology.

I have no problem someone criticizing the religion but when someone term what I do as stupid or dismiss my idols as myths should also be ready to get some kind of response. You can label me as hindu gatekeeper and insult as much as you want but that's not going to stop me from defending my religion and gods. I maybe annoying to you just as you are to me with your long essays and complex views on anything and everything😆

Wow.. i read this and all i can say is Gubbara & RTH are both Hindus but of different kind and that in itself is the beauty of Hinduism.. however, what each type of Hindu must keep in mind is that though the views & concepts of another Hindu may differ from that of yours , there is no call for criticizing the other person's beliefs , you are ofcourse free to have your beliefs , defend them & even ask questions about beliefs that you dont understand , but by no means does it qualify you to mock or criticize the other person's beliefs .. as long as you maintain this standard decorum , i dont think there should be a problem of any kind whatsoever .. Hinduism has a place for everybody , even Atheism has a place in Hinduism..it is that broad & liberal.. 😊

Yes but the fact that a member's insensitive remarks paved way for this discussion needs to be considered .. just as Mugda's remarks prompted Muslims to defend their faith , LadyDabangg's insensitive remarks prompted Hindus to defend their faith .. TM never raised any objections to Muslims defending their faith..

Anyways , back to the topic now.. 😊

But despite this , post 9/11 , many 'responsible' Muslim organizations , Ulemas etc . , realizing the need to dispel doubts being casted upon their faith (as 'it is necessary for their peaceful survival also' ) , have actually stepped forward ever since and has been quite actively engaged in it like clarifying the so called satanic verses , public condemnation of fanatic acts committed by co-religionists in the name of their faith , promoting the idea of peaceful Islam and sense of brotherhood etc. through various channels like - print media , news channels , public convocations etc..(4 eg. today the newspaper was filled with condemnations by Muslim clergies just like it is after every such incident)..In fact the next big spokesperson of Islam , the Darul Uloom , has issued many fatwas and declaration denouncing all such ghastly acts as being related to Islam..
And tbh , though thats nominal but imo practically at most they can do this to try to fix things..They(ordinary muslims) themselves are an anxious lot (I can feel that as we too have gone through such days) .They can't march out with AK-47 towards SWAT , Levant etc so as to fix things..Lot more to say but..
Whatever , I fully sympathesize with ordinary , just like us Muslims..

PS - I accidently liked that post..Anyway to undone it ?? or please deem otherwise..

The same questions hold true to white people about racism or Indians about rape culture. There is no single spokesperson for white people or India. There is no truly representative organization.

In the case of white people I don't want white people to give excuses like "but I am not racist" or "all white people are not the same". I want each individual to take responsibility and accountability to what white peopled do as a race. I want them to acknowledge racism and white privilege as an overarching part of white culture. I want them to tell me what they plan to do as individuals to change race relations. I want them to know what small steps they can take in their everyday life. If they are leaders, I expect concrete plans on how they plan to tackle these issues.

In the case of Indians I don't want Indians to give excuses like "but I am not like that" or "not all Indians are the same". I want each individual to take responsibility and accountability to what Indians do as a society. I want them to acknowledge rape culture and patriarchy as an overarching part of Indian society. I want them to tell me what they plan to do as individuals to change gender relations. I want them to know what small steps they can take in their everyday life. If they are leaders, I expect concrete plans on how they plan to tackle these issues.

In the case of Muslims I don't want white people to give excuses like "all Muslims are not terrorists" or "no religion preaches violence". I want each individual to take responsibility and accountability to what Muslims do as a religion. I want them to acknowledge terrorism and violence as an overarching part of current day Islam. I want them to tell me what they plan to do as individuals to change their religions perceptions. I want them to know what small steps they can take in their everyday life. If they are leaders, I expect concrete plans on how they plan to tackle these issues.

Basically whenever there is a problem about a certain group or culture, I expect all individuals who identify with that group or culture to take responsibility and accountability. The same holds for me. Even if I am not part of the problem, i have responsibility to try and be part of the solutions.
