I don't understand where these people get their information about islam/Quran from becoz its completely twisted. Internet is the most dangerous thing to get any information as i myself have come across may sites which provide completely wrong information whether intentionally or intentionally.

Muslims are 2nd highest population in the world and to say that 25% of them are bad is the worst thing i have ever heard .

It was an example. I was stating the difference between Muslim & other communities. Track record is horrible for Muslims. Also I said 25% of muslim males. Not females. Its not coincidence that muslim dominated countries are agitated, volatile and waiting to explode. They're making headlines every other day.

Found this on my FB today...

In the comfort
of my warm home
snug in a quilt
i ponder and think
of the mothers
who in the morning
each had dressed her child,
ironing the school uniform
and packing the tiffins with
love and life ,
Telling him to wear
an extra layer
as it was cold outside.
As a mother somewhere
had tied ribbons on her
daughter's pigtails
and kissed the face bright.

Hundreds of mothers
now shriek with agony
in my neighbourhood
for their children
who today died
Their bodies charred
with guns which
were long laden with
bullets of hatred and strife
Today humanity lost
and barbarism won
and innocent lives
paid the price
The world howls and
shrieks in shock
and disbelief
and lets out
a collective cry of plight
A mother clutches
to her son's school bag
and lets out a deafening cry
A father looks towards the door
in wait of the child who was his pride

And though numb with pain
I do nothing
I just sit watching the tv uptight
Then I silently get up and
go to my children's warm rooms
and "hug them tight" !

😒

You are saying as if they love being on headlines and enjoy the publicity. If they are on headlines..it is because they are victims..victims of the worst form of dirt existing (terrorists) who are totally misusing a religion and destroying humanity. We need help..not to be attacked for our religion which only asks for peace.

Terrorism has got nothing to do with Islam, or the Holy Quoran or with any religion for that matter...Does anyone who believes in ANY GOD...will kill the most innocents of all...our children?? These terrorists are not humans...they do not belong to any religion...because NO RELIGION WILL SAY...GO KILL INNOCENT KIDS...so there is no use of taking the name of these terrorists and Islam in the same sentence...period.

Why are people fighting over religion here when humans are dying out there everyday? 🤢 No religion condones murder, so blaming religion is completely meaningless. Instead of fighting over religion, we need to think of ways we can curb the amount of violence some people commit using God as an excuse.

In some countries, crime in the name of religion may be committed. In other countries, crime against minorities is committed using another excuse. US is not free from this either, however strict the laws may be. How many blacks are shot down dead everyday in racist states and cities, or even Mexicans? In India, crime against women has gone out of control, and now this latest tragedy in Pakistan. Whatever it may be, there are so many excuses people use to commit murders all over the world, to justify themselves. NONE of them are right and we all should strongly condemn any excuse people use to hurt others. Fighting over religion is meaningless.

Whats the source of the problem?
Its not misinterpretation of Bible or Gita. Its misinterpretation of Quran. It has become a culture of a section of muslims which will be difficult to extinguish.

I feel that when it comes to religion or sensitive issues people get overtly defensive and fail to acknowledge some level of accountability.

Think of a company where some employees engage in corruption or scamming. Once exposed, it becomes a major scandal. The reputation of the company is tarnished. The entire organization is scrutinized top down for such unscrupulous dealings. Are all employees like this? Does management condone such behavior? Surely the company has an organizational structure that lets people easily do such things. Even when most employees are innocent, such scrutiny is inevitable. A company cannot ignore the problem or refuse to acknowledge it. The company cannot say we are innocent and expect everyone to believe it. People want accountability and responsibility. People want a promise of follow up and change. The company has to take significant actions to punish the guilty, establish rules and guidelines and continuously monitor their employees to prevent such issues from rising again.

Similarly when members of a certain religion or community engage in violence it becomes a major issue. The reputation of that faith or community is tarnished. Everyone looks at them top down to see if everyone is messed up. Is every member of this group like this? Do the preachers/leaders/holy books condone such behavior. Surely there is something wrong with the belief structure that lets people do this. Even when most people are innocent, it is human nature to scrutinize. Religions simply cannot ignore the problem and refuse to acknowledge it. They cannot say most of us are good and expect people to blindly buy it. They have to become accountable and say, yes we see a problem within our ranks. They must commit to some sort of change to steer their entire population towards better behavior. Accountability and responsibility is a must.

Even if most priests were innocent, the Catholic Church had to do accept the sex abuse scandal and do something about it.

Even if not all cops are racist, the justice system in USA has to acknowledge the racial biases and do something about it

Even if all Indians are not rapists, India has to admit they have a rape problem and try to uplift the perception of women

Similarly, even though most Muslims are innocent and denounce terrorism - Islam has to acknowledge that they have a problem with terrorism. They have to admit that Muslim religious terrorism is the current most pressing global issue. People are not saying the entire religion is bad. What people are asking is please acknowledge the problems affiliated with you and do your best to fix it.

@Bold , i so agree with this . I could never understood how come a few people killing ,with muslim names, is different than others killing for a different purpose be it racial hatred or minority or invading a diff country or just a matter of different views or political reasons . We do not go round and target the whole community/religion or their beliefs in other cases. A murder is a murder so why target a particular community for it . Naxalites/maoists /IRA etc are not catogarized based on their religion so why is always there a debate related to islam whenever some terrorist do these horrible deeds who happen to have islamic names but don't follow any other principle of islam majority of muslims condemn them but they are not given any footage .

discussion about religion is stupid. No religion teach people to kill kids.🤢

you just cant bash muslims just becoj of some monsters.im half muslim n half hindu as my mother is muslim n father is hindu n trust me my parents teach me similar things about both the religion.

the reason of all these attacks is one n only pakistan politics.i know people will bash me and will give me lectures but facts will not change. While expressing deep anguish over the attack on the budding future citizens of Pakistan, one cannot resist from expressing the fact that having sowed the seeds of terrorism in their own soil, the Pakistan Army, government and the ISI along with ISIS are entirely responsible for the massive terrorism let loose in different part of the world; will these idiots learn at least now and stop this genocide?

Its never too late .should not we be teaching our children about love , caring , respecting others faiths ? First lesson starts from home
While watching the horrific sight this song came to mind where one should first become a human . We have fanatics everywhere whether it can be hindu . What kind of hypocracywas that when Actor Dilip Kumar was given the highest award by the Pak Govt . for his contribution in art that time he was called traitor the person who was one pillar of our film industry and coming actors from Manoj Kumar to Amitabh to shahrukh most followed his acting till now . So should be tolerant. More you go more you go deeper .
