Both films are of similar genre action masala romance releasing 1 month apart From each other.. and got sonakshi in common

Action jackson trailer got superb response on youtube almost 10m views in 20days thats staggering

Tevar - Remake of Okkadu and looks like Parma is back 👍🏼

Action Jackson - WTH with the one liners. Only Sly, Swazzenager and Thalaiva can get away with one liners, perhaps Bhai. Ajay just is not cool enough to carry them off. Looks ridiculous.

action jackson got a good release date and 2 open weeks

but tevar got a bad release date JAN sux its not ideal many big films struggled to score big in this month

some of the films

2009-Chandi chowk to chaina- akshay coming after SIK but the film failed big time

2010- Veer- Salman after Wanted had good opening but didnt sustain

2012-Players was a big flop despite aggressive promotions and agneepath despite having a record opening could only reach 120cr difficult to sustain in Jan

2013-Race 2 similar story the movie dropped big time after a huge opening

2014-Jai Ho salman khan after no 2013 release but failed to attract audience as audience all their money on d3
