HOLY f**k. I just saw this movie this evening, and I'm blown away. Bollywood is busy making happy new year and lots of other crap while Hollywood is going beyond filmmaking.

That's b/c BW doesn't have a Chris Nolan either. Filmmakers and directors and actors are may more worried about BO results than reading/requesting scripts and lobbying for good movies. How often do you hear of Leo DiCaprio, Geore Clooney or Matt Damon talknig about how many crores the film made, breaking box office records, or lying about trade numbers. That's the studio's job and not the actors'. They're more focused on the art of it.

But I agree with you. BW with the crapfest it's churning out will never be able to reach that standard. Remember when Inception came out and how amazed the world of cinema was with that. I so wish I can see that level of creativity in scripts and visually in Indian films.

Interstellar is too unrealistic for Bollywood now. Not just Interstellar or Gravity, even a low budget but meaningful one like Little Miss Sunshine can't be made..! Bollywood not glorifes script division stages..No screenplay reviewers like Hollywood. Pay screenwriter with ant amount of money. Busy thinking of item songs sequence first rather than screenplay quality.

I haven't seen it yet but going by NYtimes review this wasn't Nolan's best work in fact it was said a lot of it was laughable but I'm going to see it just for the visuals!

And about BW first they should focus on ACTING most of bollywood actors can't even be called actors! They should just produce films because they're in this profession for the money a lone.

the audience isnt that advanced in india. all the single screens will be empty is such movies came out. Only when the audience is ready will movies like inception come out...it should be an organic progression

I disagree. In movies like inception, it's not acting that makes it outstanding but the plot, direction and script. Obviously the acting should match the character as well. But script, or lack of it thereof, is the bigger problem in BW, imo.
