I love how honest he is, he always takes critisism with such a humble manner and isn't afraid to talk bout anything.
He doesn't think he has reached his full potential as an actor and wants to work harder with every role and show mor versatility, this shows to me he doesn't hav his head in the clouds and he is determined to be better and do better. this makes me so excited to see his future roles and how he portrays them.
We hav to understand ranveer is signed to yrf talent, yrf acting agency, so it's understandable why he has signed so many movies from them like BBB, LVRB, gunday and kill dil.
But now ranveer is starting to sign new directors outside of yrf, like SLB, zoya akhtar, vikram aditya motwani and now there r talks he mite be working with anand l rai, these r all acclaimed directors.
I always use the example of shahid kapoor, an actor who has had bad luck with his movies, a string of flops, but now he is predicted to win the awards next year for haider and his career graph is rising after all these years. So not having hits doesn't nessecerily mean an actors career is over, ranveer has two big movies next year, DDD and BM which many people r excited about.
So for me it seems Ranveer is in the industry to stay, whatever the verdict of his films maybe, he has created a big impression and has been recognised for his acting and screen presence.
I don't find him overrated, his performances in BBB, lootera and ramleela really showed me that he is a strong actor.
