Bang Bang was successful in the fact that it did better than Haider. It had a fantastic opening and steady opening. HR and Katrina fans loved it as expected.

Bang Bang is a failure in the fact that its opening was much lower than expected. Collections will drop over time. Most people critics and junta panned the movie.

Haider has performed better than Bang Bang considering the genre and the screen space!

Both films are bound to crash historically in their second weeks, once the holiday season is over.

Bang Bang will most likely end up with a semi-hit tag like Jai Ho, while Haider still has a chance at a HIT tag, albeit a small one.

For fixed deposit, they would've gotten Rs. 170 crore for investing 140 crore for 2 years.

They've already made near 106 from Hindi version only (According to BOI), they're earning from overseas.. there is TV right.. which I think won't be less than 50 crore (SRK sold his HNY at 65 crore). Producers have already made profit if we compare it with fixed deposit.

It's actually shame for the actors that they couldn't double the producers' money. They should be careful from now on before signing a big budget movie.

Let's see what HNY makes. YRF have bought the movie at 135 crore (Doesn't matter what the budget was). It needs to make double to save the face of its actors. '270 toh mangta hi hai, Boss'.
