@poppy - Kick didn't have mixed WOM. Ormax stated it's WOM as one of the best so far this after Queen and 3 other films. It as decent. Nothing excellent but majority liked it just like they liked CE & Dhoom 3.

Also critics reviews never really matter to Salman films but Kick was Salman's best reviewed film after ETT & Dabangg. Film mostly got 3 stars. Even from likes of Raja Sen. Nothing lower than 2 stars (Rajeev M) was given. Movie overall had average to good reviews. But Kick only got 1 Holiday to take advantages off compared to other big films including Dhoom 3, Chennai Express & now Bang Bang which all got more 3 holidays to support it's collections.

@tomnjerry - Bang Bang only got 3200 hindi screens (BOI source) and Katrina's star power is existing but not immense as male stars, she is ahead her contemporaries for sure.

Khans are able to make their trashiest films into a clean hit without the aid of popular co-stars. ( By Khans, I only mean SRK and Salman)

Even Kick had terrible reviews and mixed WOM, it still went on to become a BB. And Jacky is no Katrina, to bring in the crowds.

Lets see if SRK can prove this theory with HNY, cause there is no way a Farah Khan film is getting good reviews. But if it stills becomes a BB, it proves that Salman and SRK are the only two superstars in Bollywood capable of over-ruling reviews and even WOM.

Poppy,SRK needs a top heroine for making a movie hit nowadays😆

I don't have much hope from HNY. It's going to be Naam Bade Darshan Chote😆

That's huge. Imagine how much it made if it got over 200screens and had no big films clashing. 6cr is still a damage to 24cr first day collections. Star power is existent but in comparison to Khan's it obviously nothing. Khans make their films success on star power, other stars needs need good WOM too. But saying that, you can't deny that Kat & HR doesn't have any star power. They do.

Haider whatever it is..is growing ie the next day's collections have been higher than the previous day. Which is the ideal scenario if there are holidays back to back.

No problem with tht since D3 n ETT earned more thn JTHJ. SRK topped with CE but got beaten by D3 n Kick. Equation may change with HNY. 😆

It is truely under performing on sunday if its collecting only 18 crs then it tells that ppl are not liking this movie much. Here WOM n reviews do matter unless Khans films.

HNY looks tacky. Its going to underperform too and SRK knows it. Its going to be SRK's Jai Ho. 😆

It wasn't to say the film was bad or anything, i just wanted to point out that even Aamir can't guarantee a film's clean hit status like those other two films.

Agreed. I know, no one can that the beauty of BO. Otherwise it would become too dull and boring.

As for the talaash comment, I was just saying that Masala entertainers and off beat cinema are two differnt thing and should be judged accordingly.
