What she wears get noticed, she is talked about, written about, people like knowing about her.

Compared to Vidya who is an A list actress, but not a big celebrity IMO

She is holding on her own without support from big actors unlike some others who have been piggybacking on lead actors for hits and blockbusters.

In Bollywood all major family star kids automatically become A list.

If you're consistently featured on magazine covers, appear in hip and happening talk shows, get endorsements, attend publicity parties, work with A listers, then you are an A lister. So yes, Sonam is one. Deservedly or not, jury is out on that. 😆

I don't think so, but she is not a B-list actress either. However, it doesn't really matter to me as I like her more than A-list actresses' work except Priyanka and Kareena. I like her movies. They, at least, have a story, more proper characters with more female oriented, and fun and light concepts. I wish she does become A-list actress but not at the cost of her stop doing quality work like many start to once they become a-list.

successful films in terms of money? critical acclaim? acting ability? how many lead roles she plays? celebrity status?

she is a A+ list celebrity for sure.
my rough guess would be sonam is an A-list actress considering everything. But B-list if we are considering overall hit films only.
