Such a brilliant movie!! Tabu and Shahid were simply outstanding. And whoever thinks Shraddha can't act must be joking, she looked so perfect for that role and finally got to show some more acting skills.

Haider showed a decent jump on its second day. The film which released alongside Bang Bang rather held well, without getting much affected by the other release. As per early estimates, this Shahid Kapoor starrer collected 7 crores on Day 2 i.e. 1st Friday. With this, the two days collections for Haider now stands at approx 13.14 crores at the domestic box office.

The film has generated a huge positive word of mouth. Even though targeted at a niche audience, the film showed good footfalls at the multiplexes and single screens in the urban centers.

The Vishal Bhardwaj film has been rated positively by critics too and it seems to be working in favor of the film. By the end of first weekend, the film is estimated to rake in a moolah of approximately 28 crores, which will be good enough considering that the film will be easily recovering its costs.

The movie was painfully slow and boring. Tabu was amazing but Shahid was a complete let down. Left the movie half way.
