See? U also got?OMG we sonam's phans are adult enough.Never think of something like 'report'. THERE are just around 5-6 people of us. Just small.we dont have energy to make a report.Sonam is punching bag when I was a silent reader..just lately we are the phan quite vocal that all, but not to the point of wasting MOD's time.😆

3RD WEEK LIFETIME BOX OFFICE COLLECTION OF KHOOBSURAT

KHOOBSURAT Finishes 30 Cr Nett Lifetime

''Daawat E Ishq'' and ''Khoobsurat'' released a month back and both films had different set of audience. Though ''Daawat E Ishq'' lead in opening weekend on sheer release size but riding on good reviews and positive word of mouth, Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer ''Khoobsurat'' edged past in terms of lifetime collections.

Though ''Khoobsurat'' had below par day one and below par weekend. Film never took any kind of startand was below par all over. Film collected poor 11 cr nett plus over weekend but riding on steady weekdays film managed 19 cr nett plus in week one.

Film managed to hold on good numbers of screens especially in multiplexes in 2nd week. Film collected quite steady 9 cr nett plus in 2nd week which was just drop of 50% or so from week one. Film was helped by poor show of new releases.

Film faced stiff competition and lost majority of screens to new releases ''Haider'' and ''Bang Bang''. But still film added 1 cr nett plus in 3rd week and thus managed 30 cr nett lifetime number. If film would had got solo release, it had lifetime collection in excess of 40 cr nett. Still film finished with above average numbers especially helped by healthy total from overseas!

Note that KS got another 4th WEEK after this verdict. So a few Lakhs were adde to this most definitely. It was good considering all the adversity it faced.

Box Office Prediction For KHOOBSURAT

'Khoobsurat' is releasing day after tomorrow and this film is latest offering from U TV along with Anil Kapoor Productions. Film has Sonam Kapoor in lead along with Pakistani heart throb Fawad Khan. Film is said to be India''s answer to 'The Princess Diaries' and remake of Rekha starrer 'Khoobsurat'.

Film has low buzz among audience due to lack of chartbuster and no big male actor. Film is bound to get decent opening in urban centers but will struggle in mass centers. Film has also lack of high decibel marketing.

Film will depend on word of mouth and positive reviews can only save the film. Film has outside chance of crossing 30 cr nett otherwise 20-25 cr nett looks more realistic as too much competition of similar genre from 'Daawat E Ishq' and 'Finding Fanny'. Tough ride ahead at box office!

Box Office Report Card Of 2014, No Growth Over Last Year But Last Month Is Crucial

Tomorrow last quarter of 2014 will kick off and there are line up of some real potential blockbusters. 2014 was not a great year at box office and there is almost no growth in overall business in first 9 months despite bigger promotions and higher ticket price.

In first 11 months, we had only one blockbuster, one big hit and handful of medium range hits. Though surprise hits like 'Queen' and 'Ragini MMS 2' did score at box office but then these films do not change the bigger picture. November proved to be a disastrous month as all promising films 'The Shaukeens', 'Kill Dil' and 'Happy Ending' flopped badly. Now 'P.K.' and 'Action Jackson' might change that to certain extent.
