Couldn't agree more with Vivek Vaswani guy - a festival is not a time for a content based film. Festival is time for family - and they prefer feel good entertaining movies not dark themed movies. And if this is about studios ego then I don't know what to say. These guys need to grow up.

yup and family audience with kids wont go into a serious film they would want light hearted action/comedy films

so im not worrying about the opening much it will open big test comes after the 5day weekend

There are just two weeks for bang bang in a sense. Third week is the week prior to Diwali and its the week which shows least business throughout year. Uske baad HNY will take screens. So lets see 2 weeks mein kya karta hain Bang Bang.

still in 3rd week an average WOM film will do atleast 10cr if the WOM is good then even on pre diwali 14-15cr is possible

i think utv knows this fact that festival is not a time for dark theme movies, they just want to spoil the party for Fox else i could have been highest grosser of the year.
