Deepika's tweet is good the point is that these annoying look look XYZ's bra is showing .. another actress's panty is showing.. actress XY cleavage is showing that kind of news articles by newspapers and portals are disrespectful.

I dont want that sort as my daily news, but I see it daily on TOI site the online feed is more or less soft po*n and its good someone powerful like Deepika publicly spoke against it. I can't get inside her brain to know why she did it but she did it and its a good thing I can hope this gross news items and headlines will decrease a bit atleast by these major portals.

The point is not why someone like DP who wears revealing outfit is complaining its more about "why is this a NEWS" Its not objection against taking her pictures or objection of men/women liking cleavages of celebs...Pics will be taken and she has breasts she wants she can flaunt thats her lookout. Point is why is it a headline and a news and the main selling point of a leading reputed paper? I am happy she spoke against it. 😊

It has not been published in the newspaper and neither is it "news". There is a gallery where all pictures are uploaded and twitter account tweets about it 24x7. This pic for example, is more than a year old. They spam the account with various such posts daily. All done for some extra hits.

Deepikas tweets were not only for herself but for all women who are being constantly exploited.

Nearly everyday I see articles disgustingly pointing out women's' body parts and zooming into their pictures.

How r we going to stop this exploitation of women if leading news papers r continuously writing articles like this? The media shud be ashamed of itself!

the thing is that if it would have been some B grade actress...someone unknown who would have done the same..many of us would have called it a publicity stunt...we are all fickle minded in this sense...i won't justify TOI coz what it did was cent percent wrong and disgraceful but what is to be noted is that suddenly this out pour of feminism is only coz DPad...i.e. an A Lister is mentioning it

even Kat tried to do it...and there wasn't much support..maybe online but not in real by her fellow actresses or something...I doubt DPad would get much support either...leave contemporaries, even the normal audience and ppl like us wouldn't be this supportive of her action had it not been Kat or DPad

we would have targeted the girl only...which is why the world is not changing..and this is plain SHAMEFUL
