deepika tweet was just not about herself but for all the woman and actresses coz this has happened not for the first time they always put this kind of crap article but this time it was by a popular Indian daily( i guess). i am glad that she stood up and this matter turned worse because of that pathetic reply from TOI that was disgusting👎🏼 .

regarding deepika reply to kat fiasco i think she was not wrong (FULLY) i think all actresses should be careful coz these morons that can stoop to any level to make masaledar headlines (they have several time leaked many celebrities personal pics) so they should be more careful including deepika herself, yeah she could have added that "its her body whatever she can wear" but the whole thing was not about bikini was about invading into someone personal moments and mocking them so kat was right but i am surprised to know that ranbir didnt supported her and said she was looking "HOT" i mean she was not alone holidaying man u were there with u should have supported her.

I also read someone saying let her take a stand and stop giving interviews - why should she? supposing I think indian political parties are all bad in one way or the other or i think elections are rigged... so does that mean I stop voting and take that as a principled stand or I continue to engage with the system and raise my voice against whatever i find offensive and slowly see if there is a change happening?
I am not syaing deepika is a saint... she is as much of a hypocrite as anyone else in the industry... do you remember what sonam kapoor said for the same letter by Katrina? she even said I would think if I was an idiot to go and get caught on camera like that blah blah.. only thing is she said she likes Katrina.. so that made it okay for her to say all this... whereas deepika said she would think she has to be more careful and would not write a letter... this case is different , it is not that she is calling TOI out for publishing a pic of her and ranveer, she is objecting to the ehadline and the way it has been posted on the site... while she might be a hypocrite in other ways, I dont think this is really an instance of hypocrisy... and I am hoping that all the support that seems to be there will make TOI rethink their strategy of publishing such news items with such headlines...

Miss Padukones timing is really too good to be true. & the pic was on TOI for months, but she never thought of asking them to remove it before. All happens to culminate when her new release needs a boost? Nah, she needs more people.

Arey please keep Sonam out of this, why try to deflect the bashing to her? This is Deepikas blunder, she deserves to take heat for it. I dont say I condone what TOI did, not at all. But truth is, there is nothing empowering about her outburst, especiallly since her fans trended sick jokes on Sonams breasts but she never took a stand on that. 🥱

I have no idea how this industry works and whether anyone will go see her movie because she tweeted about this.. I usually never do anything like that... but if you say so may be there are people who will flock to finding fanny just because deepika tweeted that she has cleavage and breasts... it could be part of some image makeover or it could be that with success she is feeling more confident about expressing herself... anything is possible...

I was not trying to deflect any bashing... I have personally not bashed any actress here nor have I supported anyone bashign any actress... and every actor/actress has fanatic fans and they cannot be held responsible for what fans do... atleast I dont believe in that... TOI is not a bunch of fans so I do think the issue is different...

and I dont know why people here are bent upon making this a payback for deepika... Katrina's issue was very different - it was not at all about the bikini... it was about katrina and ranbir being proven to be a couple... the bikini jokes came up in IF and after her open letter to media and it became a joke because the journalists who responded implied that she herself had leaked the pics... I dont think what deepika said she would do if her holiday pics with ehr BF has been leaked, means that she was being a hypicrite then and she is reacting to the same issue... I was just saying almist everyone had responded in a similar vein to katrina's open letter because the issue was not that she wore bikini... it was that a relationship they were trying to keep under wraps came out in the open because fans or paparazzi or pr leaked those pictures... and supposedly her would be in-laws reacted badly on print... and almost everyone responded to that issue and not about whether Kat should have worn bikini... and no one posted a pic zoomign in on her bum or boobs .. saying see jher cleavage or whatever... I am sure some of the people here who comment on the physical attributes of all actresses commented on Katrina also... but I dont remember any major newspapers talking about somethign like that... so none of the celebrities were responding to kaif's bikini pictures... they were responding to what will they do if pap snaps of them on vacation with their significant other is published without their consent... I am not sure why people just do not want to understand that this was not the same issue... although TOI is a trashy paper it is good to remove some trash from TOI... it was a bad heading and may be other people also should have reacted when theirs were published...

I dont see why that makes deepika a hypocrite in this particular case... yuo do not need to jump on people like they bashed ur favorite... I did not bash her nor do I have any intention of getting other people to bash her...
