This cud be true ! He only gave more than one movie when he was still new in BW. As the years increased the outcome gradually decreased.

He has been saying for quite sometime now that he's open to do more movies. Movies that finish in one 45 days schedule and any director who has one in mind should approach him. Not to forget that had he not been injured during BB the situation would have been very different.

After Krrish 3 in November Bang Bang was to be released in May and after that Shuddhi was on for a December 2014 or a January 2015 release. But what happened happened and now we are here. I am actually a believer in whatever happens happens for the best and this time around too him leaving Shuddhi has resulted in him doing Mohenjodaro which is becoming bigger day by day. Also considering how big the project is and how much time Ashutosh likes to put into his movies, January 2016 release is more than welcome in my view.

Also please let's give the guy a break. His body has suffered a lot over the years. Go through his favorited tweets and you'll see how much injuries he has. Even he himself would like to do movies which take less effort physically but he can only chose from the scripts that come to him.

i think he knows that he has to do more movies, he is just waiting for the right scripts .and to be honest i don't want him to become an other akshay kumar, 1-2 movies per year is perfect

OP: this thread should have been for Aamir. He did 13 movies in 15 years, much less than Hrithik.

And after P.K he doesn't even have a release, forget 2015, we might not even see him in 2016

at least Hrithik has one movie and other is about to be confirmed.

Abt BO power, Hits-flops etc.. lets just say BOI which is totally biased against HR also has HR having 53% success ratio career wise.. which the best of any big star-actor EVER is history of BW .. for some1 who has done more than 10 films or more than 10 years!

When ppl talk much abt Hr's flops.. they forget that he has 5 BBs out of 19 films. Right from his very first to his last one! Now, the question why hez considered biggest star after the Khans?

Im old enuff to have followed Khans since 1989.. and have noticed that "3 Khans" brand have helped them endlessly. Aamir was never Big in 90s.. sometimes not even in top 5. He has also been missing for years in 2000s.. but whenever he comes back with hit like Gajini .. hez considered right into top bracket "3 Khans". Salman had flops after flops in 2000s first decade.. one of his best films (acc to his fans) Tere Naam was crushed by KMG.. BO wise- performance wise. HR won all awards agaisnt some best performances by BigB, Srk, Salman, Sanjay etc that year! Still soon as Salman starts hiving hits, again the "3 Khans" brand comes into play. SRK is the only one who has consistent over last 2 decades.

Back in days.. Rajendra Kumar suffered the same fate 😆 Coz of Raj-Dilip-Dev trio.. Even tho' Rajendra's most movies were doing silver jubillies (25 weeks run on BO) , he was always considered 4th.

Now, just imagine a surname change. Take any Khan out of the "3 Khans" list and put Hrithik in it. The Khan thats left out wud be struggling to break into the top bracket. This is all about perception.

There are many ways to consider someone's starpower or acting prowess. HR ticks almost all the boxes.

-Success ratio- 53% and above.

-Disater- none

-worldwide- He has only one flop... Fiza

-Awards- truckloads of them

-Big banners- alwaying knocking his doors. He signed JA when he was giving flops.

-Salary- arguably highest paid in BW. 50 Crs for MD might be true.

-Fan followings- from 3 years old to 90 years old.. (my nani (mom's mom) passed away last night age 91.. she liked HR too).

-Look, height-body, dance, acting- intensity, action-stunts..

-good relations with co-stars.

-a good human being.. divorce may be the biggest dark chapter so far..

So, U see its all about perception. Also, in last 4 years, Khans r having a ball altogether. And still HR helds it on his own. No mean feat! Just look at clicks hez getting on YT.. which is an open medium for all net users unlike social mediums of fan groups.

And as a HR fan, yes.. I like to see him doing more movies. Even if means Kites in between some 4 good films. But for that I do wish health and mental peace! 😊
