Trashing Mr Bachchan's comedy or tapori roles on basis of Kaante or late 2000s films is unfair. Amar Akbar Anthony, Satte pe Satta, Chupke Chupke show his flair for comedy. Anthony is the first out and out tapori role in Bollywood films. Amitabh got title of One Man Show from critics after he proved ability in all genres.

Yes he is not a great dancer. But then no actor except Hrithik, Prabhudeva, Kamal Haasan, Govinda, Mithun, Jeetu, Akki are good dancers.

If anyone prefers other actors above Amitabh Bachchan it is fine and completely their choice. But trashing his abilities based on myopic look at few films done in old age is not exactly fair.

With time he should improve, just like in any other professional, you improve your skills, your art gets better with time, his didn't.

+ I didn't trash his acting skills purely based on those movies, those were just few examples. His comic timing has been the same, it has not improved since the days of chupke chupke.

You can see him with Govinda in bade miyan chote miyan, and govinda totally owns him. Then you can watch Sanju with govinda in Haseena maan jayegi, jodi no1, much much better than Big B.

Sanjeev kumars one Angoor is enough to overshadow Big B's entire comic collection 😆

Back in the day, awards used to be a little fair (I think) that's why Sanjeev kumar got 3 best actor awards along with Naseer uddin shah while Big B was on top, that should tell you something.

Just watch what Sanjeev kumar does in movies like Trishul (while he was young) and compare that with what Big B is playing these days (while he is old) Sanjeev played those old characters while he was young and did it much better.

If I start Kamal hassan or Sanjeev kumars list then it won't end. There credentials are far more superior than Big Bs

Big B is a good actor but here we're talking about BEST and then we've to compare him with other actors and then we've to compare everything.

Versatility (comic, drama, intense, loverboy, tapoori, gangster, villain, The Hero, etc)

Movies, Dance, the look and other things too. everything counts.

As far as acting is concerned, there is not a single role that Sanjay dutt, govinda, aamir khan, kamal hassan hasn't played better than him.

Sanjeev kumar is there too but maybe he hasn't played gangster roles but as far acting goes and the roles he did, no one could beat him, he died otherwise I bet he would have done those roles too by now.
