Singham Returns Continues To Fall

Singham Returns continued to fall in its third week as the film fell as the film fell over 80% again after a 79% fall in the second week. The business of Singham Returns till date is as follows.

Week One - 1,11,95,00,000

Week Two - 22,71,00,000

Third Weekend - 2,50,00,000 approx

TOTAL - 1,37,16,00,000

Singham returns will add less than 30 crore nett business after the first week as compared to the 70 crore nett that the first Singham added. Overall the film has done well but should have at got to 150 crore nett considering how strong the collections were in week one.

I think Rohit has become overconfident. I don't think Rohit and Ajay are too happy with end results. No wonder they are quiet and only Kareena in talking.

U are bound to be pissed off if your movie fails to touch 150 crs despite a 30 cr day 1

No wonder. Content wise, Singham 2 falls much behind Singham. Add to that the below average music.

Exactly my point. They would have dreamed of 150+ final total..yahan it's struggling to make 140.

That means content failed.

Of course it had to fall...There were only two reasons why it did so well in the first week...

First ...the hit and beautiful Singham..

Second...RS's new found popularity as a director after giving the 227 cr CE...

and people had started comparing Ajay's starpower with Salman and Shahrukh...just because SR made a 32 cr on first day...LMAO..😆

Content toh Salman ki her movie mein fail hota hai😆...Its not about content failing...its about the difference in star power of Khans and Devgan...😛

No, when a film falls 80% in week 2-3, it means the film did not really work for people. Star power cannot make such films trend well. It's not about star power after weekend/week 1 anyways. This isn't surprising anyways...the film was made in 3 months just so it could cash in on national holiday; the point wasn't to make a good, entertaining film but to make money. It was an overconfident film.
