A bunch of things could have happened to explain why Susanne isn't there.

- Suzanne was invited but decided to skip the event in order to avoid her ex

- The family probably decided to have two events. One at home with Suzanne and the family. One outside with the estranged son in law

When two people break up after a long time there are often common friends and family. Anyone who has had two friends breakup knows that it is a balancing act. Even when the breakup is amicable it can be tricky allotting time between the people. Hanging out with one without the other doesn't mean the other is shunned. It just is the best of an awkward situation. Maybe the family is shunning Suzanne, but it could be just one of those - its ok that's the family time with Hrithik we will do something with Suzanne later.

But the eye thingy was thanks to Zeenat Aman's husband, Mazahar Khan. He was married to Rubina but Zeenal was able to break his house later he became frustrated because his career was not picking up the way he wanted. He used to hit and beat Zeenat a lot. Now he is dead. It was also said that her own elder son also used to hit her.
