The chase begins! Akshay Kumar is back in his action avatar for Neeraj Pandey's gritty film Baby. Here is the first look of the movie.

The actor and the Special 26 director have come together for yet another action movie, titled Baby. Co-produced by T-Series, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher and Sushant Singh Rajput.

The actor is quite kicked about the action film for which he has shot extensively in Nepal, Istanbul and Abu Dhabi. Like Special 26, Akshay Kumar is once again sporting a thin mouche.

Going by the first look and the sepia tone of the poster, the movie gives a retro vibe. Talking about the movie, Akshay Kumar said in an interview, "Neeraj is a task-master but I enjoy working with him because his stories and titles always generate curiosity, the title of this very film for example."

Yes, Baby is a strange title for an action flick, and as of now nothing is known about the movie's story. However, the film is said to be loosely based on Ben Affleck's Academy Award winning Hollywood film Argo. It's learnt that Taapsee Pannu is cast to play an undercover agent along with Akki in the film.

Well, we better put these assumptions aside and wait for the first official trailer to raise the curtain. Meanwhile, check out the first poster of Baby:
