IDK but i'm wary of those big projects after Ra.one😆

And a one with ducks is more worring😆

big budget projects like BV always a risky proposition and now they arent releasing on any holiday only 1 open week it need to work overtime to recover its cost

but atleast hope film is decent not expecting much BO wise

Ra one was messed up by the director but SRK came to the rescue with his marketing skills

It's a difficult book to base a movie on. More like documentation of Mumbai , there are so many angles. AK would be hard-pressed in doing justice to the book and bringing a story on screens.

It would be a difficult movie to sell. With all the delay , VFX and re-shots - any idea what the new budget would be like?

obviously BV... i had that feeling from the beginning that this project gonna be mess. Somethings can be felt from the start.

On this note, the probability of Ranveer getting filmfare for 2015 is as good as it was before. Ranbir will be excellent in BV but it will be panned by public and critics, thus a boxoffice failure. AK will take the blame and the movie will be forgotten.
But i will watch it for Ranbir's acting

Well the blind is making it appear like that the film story is not making any sense. Any way got a reply about Mumbai Saga being not a normal novel to adapt.

These characters are in the novel as well?

Edit: Kashyap got inspired by LA Quartet too.

Not aware of the character names in AK's movie. But the book has Nariman, JamsetJee, Doga and so many more iconic characters.

Hmm so it's a rehash of two stories. It might be a very good thing or an epic fail. Honestly the book MF is all about Mumbai.

Production budget was 90 cr. Print and publicity would be 10-15 cr, i guess.
