Rani seeks divine help

Onlookers at a popular temple in Gujarat on a Monday morning didn't expect to see Rani Mukherjee among them. The actress sprung a surprise on all when she decided to attend temple's maha aarti at 7 am on the auspicious day of Sataam, to pray for her upcoming film Mardaani. After the aarti she went back for darshan and then attended a personal puja at 10.30 am when husband Aditya Chopra joined her.

A source present on the spot says, "She took time off especially for this puja and aarti. Ambaji, the goddess of shakti, symbolises womanpower and Rani's film too is based on the same theme. She had long planned this ritual and she's glad that it went off smoothly."
