Kissing is a biochemical process accomplished with the application of rudimentary physics, algebra and geometry.

It usually takes between two carbon based life forms and involves the organs such as lips and tongue. In more intense forms there will be appendage roaming and lateral movement of the organs to other parts of the anatomy such as nape, clavicle, chest, abdomen and even further lower. This biological process would not take place without neuro-receptors altering the chemical balance of the brain and signaling arousal through the anatomy. Gravity is essential, because it is difficult to make the lips meet in zero g situations. Herein comes physics. But there is more - the bodies have to move with the right acceleration and force. Without such fine tuning there is no difference between a warm embrace and a football tackle. Geometric angles have to be considered with accuracy to prevent miscalculation mishaps such as painful bumping of the nostrils or heads or worse connection of wrong organs such as lip to nose or having ones follicles get entangled in a mess. Algebra comes in handy to calculate the value of x when calculating the angles involved or the acceleration necessary.
