Post Singham Returns, the blockbuster-director Rohit Shetty will wield the megaphone for a Shahrukh Khan-film. The terrific duo of Chennai Express can't wait to churn out another blockbuster, but this time Shahrukh will share screen space with two other actors.
Rohit Shetty has confirmed that his next project will be for Shahrukh Khan's Red Chilli Entertainment, starring obviously Shahrukh in the lead. The movie will also require two other young actors, and the buzz was strong that Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan might be the ones.
But the director has dismissed the rumours. "I may need two boys on board with SRK. However, I'm still writing the film and I have not given a narration to either Arjun or Varun, so it is unfair to use their names," Rohit Shetty is quoted as saying by a daily.
Though he has not approached any other actor for the film, Rohit does want to work with the young guns Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. But for now, the movie's script is his priority. The director says that once the final draft is ready, he will take the call on the remaining cast and, yes, that's not going to happen without Shahrukh Khan's consent.
It will be SRK who will decide on the boys.
Who do you think will make better co-stars with Shahrukh? We think besides Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra (working with Akshay Kumar in Warrior'), Sushant Singh Rajput (new Byomkesh Bakshi), Aditya Roy Kapur (in 'Fitoor' mode) and even Saqib Saleem (underrated actor) will look good in this entertainer.
