Actor Sushant Singh Rajput who has finished working on 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshi' is now gearing himself for Shekhar Kapur's 'Paani'.

From DibakarBanerjee to now ShekharKapur,Sushant says, "I am yet to start my working withShekharKapur, but I can say that he creates an entire world of the project that he takes up with. From all the meetings I have had with him, Irealise that one has to be extremely honest as an actor if you are working with him. You just can't be not prepared or not feel the kind of experience that he has or feels on the subject."

On whether he had heard of ShekharKapoor's long ongoing projects since he is known as a perfectionist filmmaker, Sushant says, "Paani will be a life-changing experience so even if it were my last film - meaning if it were to stretch for anytime, I will do it. With ShekharKapoor I can only grow and become a newer actor."

What is this guy known for besides Mr India and Elizabeth? both were not that extraordinary IMO... But I'm looking forward to Paani, Sush is definitely the most talented newbie...

I feel scared for this guy sometimes but then I try to remind myself that love, art and ambition require that streak of madness. 😆😳

Anyhow, he seems so confident (and happy too), kuch toh baat hogi. Plus as long as he collaborates with all these experienced directors and learns from them, he only gains and gets closer to his goal as his ultimate dream is anyway to become a film director one day.

Masoom- his first film. Brilliant screenplay (story based loosely on Man Woman and Child by Erich Segal, writer of love Story), brilliant performances and beautiful songs. Watch it someday if you get time.

Bandit Queen based on the life of Phoolan Devi. (Got 3 national awards and a couple of other honours.)

There are actually two films made by him on Queen Elizabeth- both got nominated for oscars.

Four Feathers with Health Ledger.

These are his most prominent works.
