Why did Aishwarya refuse Hancock?

I'm glad Charlize Therone did it, she is 10x better than Aish but can someone tell me why she will refuse such movie but is okay doing 2 second role in Pink Panther 2? is it because of Will Smith? she did refuse him two other times...

Look at the body language pictures between Charlize and Will during promo. They were very touchy, feely. Very complete with kisses on cheeks and necks on the red carpet. Will is usually not like that. The interviews also make me go 😲.

You know what they say about Will and Jada, open relationship and all that. So I am wildly speculating here, Will is nowhere near that powerful now, but then he was and he had a thing for Charlize, so he had them offer it to her ? The studio picked Charlize who is after all more well known and an Oscar winner to boot than a BW actress who is not known in the US.

But Aish said she turn it down not that she was kicked out.. I'm not surprised Will had thing for Charlize look at her, she is beyond gorgeous and she has that fun easy going personality.

I have my doubts about Hancock as I don't think there was a kissing scene and she did say she does not want to kiss which does not make sense if she refused. It was a big film with Will and it is tons better than Pink Panther.

I do believe her when she says when she turned down Troy because Brad Pitt wanted her to do the Diane Kreuger role. The poor woman would have been driven out of India if she had done that.

Aishwarya did not do any films between October 2007 and October 2008, that is around when Hancock was shot. Her father was diagnosed with Cancer and she spent a lot of time by his side.

And for the record, Ash was the main villain in Pink Panther. It was an ensemble film and still she had plenty of screen time.

Aishwarya could have been a much bigger name in Hollywood if she waned to. She was never ambitious enough. She wouldn't even want to shift to LA. She wanted Hollywood producers to send scripts to her Mumbai office. And she was averse to nudity or sex scenes. Turning down Will Smith and Brad Pitt is definitely not wise. It's like a South Indian actress getting chances to act opposite Khans in Bollywood but her turning them down. Sigh.

But then it's not over yet. She's still receiving offers from international cinema, hope she does something big in the future.

Initially the name of the movie was Bangkok. And Aish was told that her character was of a lady boy.
