Yeah, right. The Lunchbox was awesome. Script and Irrfan. Nimrat was ok. Today when even the indie filmmakers are offering roles to popular actresses, I don't think Nimrat got much out of TLB in India. Like Frieda, Nimrat is a popular Indian face abroad thanks to TLB.

She is a talented actress. But phekne ki bhi hadd honi chahiye. Even the Khans mustnt have rejected so many scripts.

Anyway,she's talented. And I personally love the Homeland series! So yeah,its a great opportunity for her. The show is brilliant.

She was the actress in The Lunch Box.

Honestly I dont know why Frieda became so famous. Slumdog Millionaire was pathetic. It put down in India in every possible way. Nationality is a different issue,ut even the movie,it wasway too over-rated. It shouldnt have been even nominated to the Oscars. A.R.Rahman's music though was class.

Frieda became a household name with that film. Dev Patel,where is he though?

As overrated as I think Freida is, she is doing pretty well in HW. she isn't going to get an oscar, she is not that caliber, but she is no less than those actresses who do flowerpot roles in HW movies. basically her skin color, and her unconventional looks, which could have been a bane in BW is bringing her offers in HW.

She did planet of apes, that henry cavill movie, both big budget movies

and a movie with Christian Bale is coming up or has come up too.

So she isn't doing bad.

Dev is going slow and steady.

He was quite believable as Zuko in the avatar movie. I liked him in bext exotic marigold hotel too

Speaking of which Teena Desai is awesome, she is hot and a good actress , she should try her luck in HW.

Well, in her prime Aish was apparently offered 15-20 scripts per day. So I mean it is possible that Nimrat was offered a variety of scripts from a variety of places since Lunchbox. I mean it's been awhile since we saw her onscreen as well.

But I love how she talked about going on an audition and getting chosen cuz she nailed that audition--not b/c she was apart of an critically acclaimed project.
