I don't care about the box office business.. As long as it is better than Dhoom 3 interms of content.. I will take it..3 idiot is the best movie... So I won't be disappointed if it is not as good as 3 idiot.. But aamirs reputation is on the line.. Specially after D3

Yes it can and it will in my opinion.The hype is just too strong.Look at the response a single poster has received.Everyone is talking and the trailer are yet to come.

If the plot is interesting and good, which it seems to be , then Dhoom better watch out.

It is inspired from Australian film Epsilon.

Well yes it can be amazing because Hirani just never goes wrong. And Aamir is on a high in last 5 years.

Nothing can stop it except if its content is not received well by certain sections of audience. Like if it is about religion and superstitions then this so called Saffron brigade could create problem. They were too aggressive on Fanaa and still haven't forgotten that controversy given their remarks when Aamir visited Modi even this year.🤢

I trust Hirani and Abhijat Joshi to take care of alien concept to make it palatable to audience though aliens are not popular except for cartoonish/childish stuff in Krissh series.

Boman Irani is not a star and does not boast but he called it the best script and has been praising it since he signed it. That means something!

Yup, Aamir also said that it is his most favorite movie/ story ever.And when Aamir says that with exceptional films like Lagaan. TZP, RDB and 3 Idiots etc. already in his filmography then you can bet your house that PK sure is something.

Anushka too has said that it is the best and the most moving script she has ever heard.

I really hope people stop projecting and promoting 3 Idiots as Aamir's movie and that it became ATBB because of Aamir. 3 Idiots became what it is because of the content. Period. If anyone else had done 3 Idiots it would have scored well as well (perhaps not to the current stature it enjoys).

Dhoom 3, I haven't watched, and don't plan to either. I can believe when people say that it became a BB because of star cast, mainly Aamir and Katrina and the Dhoom franchise. But 3 Idiots, no way.

Coming to PK, if the content is good like 3 Idiots and Aamir actually bothers to exercise his facial muscles then it might become the biggest grosser ever.

Also, don't forget Raju Hirani. People anticipate his movies as much as they anticipate other superstars movies.

My only request to Aamir would be to not ditch and term this movie as "experimental" if it fails to earn what the PK team is hoping. That just seems deperate. I still can't forget what Aamir said about Talaash after it failed to become a BB/Hit. I was planning on watching it but when I read his statement post-release, it left a bitter taste. I still haven't been able to watch it and I doubt I ever will.
