There is no truth to the reports of Rs.400 crore alimony: Hrithik's sp

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan's separation last year came as a shock not just to their fans but also to the film fraternity. Recently rumours of Sussanne demanding Rs.400 crore in alimony started doing rounds. Rubbishing the reports, Hrithik's spokesperson said that the news of a dispute between the estranged couple is fabricated.

According to reports, the actor agreed to pay around Rs.380 crore after Sussanne asked for an alimony of Rs.400 crore.

In a statement released by Hrithik's spokesperson, a friend close to the couple said, "Finance and money has not even so far been a topic of discussion between Hrithik and Sussanne."

"They have even left it out of court because it does not hold importance to them. Hrithik being the person he is, would do anything to ensure that his family is happy and well looked after. Sussanne too is an independent working girl who has her own business. Any talk of money or dispute over settlement is ridiculous and fabricated," the source added.

The estranged couple announced their separation in December 2013.

The duo, who got married in 2000, filed for divorce in April, 2014. They together have two sons Hrehaan, 7, and Hridhaan, 5.

While Hrithik's statement of December 13 read that Sussanne has decided to end their marriage, the latter said that their separation is based on their individual choices. She also mentioned in her statement that nothing can change their responsibilities towards their kids.

They were spotted together celebrating their son's birthday in May.
