Kareena Kapoor Khan has been in the news a number of times lately for the films she has been rejecting or walking out of. In a moment of honesty, the actress admits that she does not feel she should be working with the younger lot of actors and is best suited to working with her seniors.
"I can't work with someone as young as Varun Dhawan for example. He's a great actor, but I can't romance someone as young as him; that would be pushing it. I am an actor who is in check with reality. I am better off doing films with Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh," the 33-year-old actress told Deccan Chronicle.
Kapoor Khan also went on to confess that the reason she walked out of Dharma Productions' ambitious project Shuddhi' was because she only wanted to do it while Hrithik Roshan was the leading hero. "That film was synonymous with Hrithik. Once he opted out, I didn't want to be part of it either," she said.
Interestingly, in an industry where actresses commonly work opposite actors a decade or two older than them, Kapoor Khan is not comfortable working with actors who are just a few years younger than her. Including Shuddhi', the actress has walked out of three films with actor Ranveer Singh, who is just 4 years younger than her.
Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Returns', opposite Ajay Devgn. The film is slated to release on 15th August.
