Priyanka C replaced Bebo in Sahir's biopic movie Gusthaalkiyaan

Reports were rife last year that Kareena Kapoor Khan would be playing the female lead in Sahir Ludhianvi's biopic about Amrita Pritam. News now has it that Priyanka Chopra has bagged the part.
The project is tentatively titled Gustaakhiyaan' and Irrfan Khan has also been signed for the role of an Urdu poet. A source close to the project told TOI, "She was always the first choice for the role. Ashi is sure that Priyanka fits the bill".
Ashi Dua, producer of last year's Bombay Talkies', is going to produce the film and it should go on the floors in early 2015.

Crap. I don't believe it. I have read articles where its mentioned that PC was always the first choice.

This is not sudden...Kareena had official statement for it while the recent articles look like PR attempt by PC.
