The much-anticipated directorial debut by Sajid Nadiadwala, Kick, took a gigantic opening this morning. This Salman Khan-Eid combo is expected to lock day one at a new day 1 record, Rs 27-30 crore or may be more. The film, which also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in vital roles, is expected to enjoy a much bigger weekend. The film released with Khan's fans more than eager to watch him on the big screen after his outing in January, so its success at the ticket counter is no surprise.
In Mumbai, Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines says, "Kick took an opening of more 90 per cent and was also house full in many centres across India and in Mumbai as well. The film has opened with excellent numbers and we expect it to reel in Rs 10 crore today."
In Delhi-UP, Brijesh Tandon, HK Tandon and Company adds, "The response to the film is spectacular, and despite Ramzan, the film is enjoying a great day at the ticket window. We expect it to earn Rs 5 crore today. The weekend will clock magical numbers."
In East Punjab, Jaspal Dhingra of Nanaksar Pictures says, "Salman Khan and Eid is a combination that is outstanding for the box office. The film will definitely bring in Rs 2.75 crore today and the weekend will be massive. Let's not forget the Tuesday Eid holiday, which will be register bumper collections. "
In Rajasthan, Gaurrav Gaur of O'Real Imagination remarks, "Kick has opened to an impressive response in Rajasthan. The film has garnered a 90-per cent opening and had impressive advance booking for the evening shows. Khan has returned with a bang and today the film will collect Rs 1.5 crore in Rajasthan."
Ravi Machchar of Sahyog Films in Nizam says, "Kick opened to a fabulous start during the 9 am show but by noon, the film grew to 100-per cent occupancy. The rest of the shows today are almost house full. We expect this movie to garner Rs 1.5 crore by the end of the day."
In West Bengal, Debashish Dey of Aum Moviez reveals, "Salman Khan is back with his larger-than-life movies and, with Kick, we are expecting business to grow by the night shows. Day one will wrap at Rs 1.3 crore."
BH Basha of Bahar Enterprise remarks, "The film opened to 90-per cent occupancy in most centers in Mysore and continued to gain momentum during the day. Salman Khan is back with a film that appeals to his audience in a grand manner. Kick will collect around Rs 1 crore today."
Rakesh Singh of Maa Sona Films in Bihar concludes, "The film is expected to earn Rs 70 lakh here in Bihar today. Salman Khan has given his fans a spectacular Eid."
