"If you see from the point of view of working with many producers, the number of films he does in a year, money rotation within the industry, money he makes at the box office, I feel he is the No.1 star today. He works with everybody and he is the only star that has grown as an actor. It is difficult for anybody to do the kind of work he does and to do so much of work. He comes, works and goes and does not badmouth anybody. He dances well, is a very good-looking man and can act. His diction has improved. He is the only one, who is growing and learning and I love the fact that he still enjoys the pain of learning something. I am a big fan of his."

What do the box office numbers mean to you?[


They mean a lot. I would want Kick to break all the records. It's good for the industry. And then someone else should come and break all those records. It hurts, but it should happen. It then gives you the kick to beat that. Sometimes you can beat it and sometimes you can't beat it. After 5-10 years, all the rest of them will becomes character artistes. I will still be at it I hope they read this so that they will feel chalo usne yeh bola, chalo usko kar ke dikhate hain. I want them to do that and not to be character artistes. I want them to remain heroes. I believe that a hero on screen has to have something attractive about him off screen, that is why he got his first role, that is why he is a hero and that is why he has sustained himself as a superstar for 25 years.



I'm happy he said they mean alot unlike some who say they don't !!

That's why I love him, he's truly a genuine and honest guy, he has a heart of gold.
