What's the deal with diamonds? They are just shiny looking stones! Why isn't say pearl a big deal or emerald? The idea of diamonds for engagement was created by advertising agencies! It's not any cultural tradition!

Anyways it's her job to promote jewelery. I ignore this side of her lol!
