My theory about Aditya Chopra/SRK film release date

Some websites have begun to report that Aditya Chopra will be directing SRK for a film releasing in 2016. There was news that the film will be called "Tum Hi Ho", which sounds like a bunch of BS to me.

Anyways, I do feel though that a film where Aditya is directing SRK will release in 2016, and here's been my theory for it for a long time now (I've thought of this theory a long time ago!)

2000-Aditya Chopra directed SRK (Mohabbattein)

2004-Yash Chopra directed SRK (Veer Zaara)

2008-Aditya Chopra directed SRK (RNBDJ)

2012-Yash Chopra directed SRK (JTHJ)

See the pattern? Since 2000, each Chopra has taken a turn directing SRK, but with a 4 year gap. As per this pattern, Aditya will be directing SRK in 2016. I think rather than there being "reports" (as these

sites say), these websites probably used a similar theory as mine to predict when this film will be coming.

I am a huge SRK fan. But my theory is the same except a twist to the tale.
Yes, Aditya Chopra will direct next in 2016 but Ranveer will star in it.
Aditya movies are young love stories and SRK will not fit in anymore. FAN (Maneesh Sharma- Ranveer's director) went to SRK. This is a tactical plan by Aditya to appease SRK. So, he can take in Ranveer and continue his legacy of films. And since Ranveer is SRK's fav; he has SRK's blessings.

Don't believe me n my calculations! Just wait and watch😆.

@khansinghtomar it's quite possible that they take Ranveer Singh, I never denied they wouldn't. But I feel that SRK will be in the 2016 film and then after that in 2020 and beyond it will be other stars (like Ranveer Singh, etc)

@shylockholmes nah aditya would probably continue directing onwards

A reliable source has confirmed that Aditya Chopra, head honcho of Yash Raj Films, is targeting the Diwali weekend in 2016 to release his fourth directorial venture also starring Shah Rukh Khan.

The source added that the untitled film will be yet another love story with SRK playing a more mature character' as compared to some of his previous romantic films. She reasoned that the actor would be 50+ when the film releases in theatres.

There is one other extremely special reason why the makers are targeting Diwali 2016. The release of the film would coincide with Shahrukh Khan's 51st birthday (November 2nd), as Diwali falls on October 30th in 2016.

The film is yet to be officially announced by YRF, but news of Aditya Chopra directing Shahrukh Khan has already been creating waves in the industry. It would be their fourth film together after Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Mumbai: We hear that Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra are in talks for a film together, even as their first joint venture Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge continues to run in Maratha Mandir (Mumbai) almost two decades after its release.

A source from Yash Raj Films says, "Aditya will direct the film and everyone's hoping it will recreate the Dilwale magic. Since the film completes 20 years next year, the idea is to pay tribute to the original film. As of now it's not clear if Kajol will be the leading lady, considering the recent issues between YRF and her."

The film is pretty much confirmed. Even last year, it was confirmed Adi was writing a film for SRK. Some other source had said the announcement would me made next year and it would start shooting next year. But ...look at how SLOW SRK is with the films he makes... How can he finish 4 films by then unless he is ditching 3 of them? It is impossible for it to come out by 2016.

I hope kajol will be the leading lady. When SRK Kajol Adi teamed up together, we got DDLJ and now I think they should team up again so they can again give us something as good as DDLJ

Fan and Raees both start shooting this year, the Rohit Shetty film will probably start shooting next year after Fan releases and this movie will start filming early 2016. JTHJ started filming around March 2012 and they finished in time for a Diwali release and RNBDJ was filmed in an even shorter amount of time. Of course this is assuming SRK doesn't get injured before then since Fan, Raees and the Rohit Shetty movie will all have Action scenes. The only question at the moment is when will Raees release...I think All the holidays for 2015 are taken so if it releases in 2016 then SRK might have 3 releases in 2016 which he probably wants to avoid.
