i loved mahira and fawad's pairing, its more that u like their jodi than that off the story.. i feel fawad was fabulous.. and as u said ekta and gul can only manage to make it more regressive, and waisebhi ekta loves tracks which has female lead and sasuma at loggerheads and making a fool out of the male lead and painting him as eternal lover..😆

Gosh its reached a stage where Ekta cant even come up with original bgms 😕 She keeps playing Allah Waariyan in KB every time the leads look at each other..And its managed to make me hate the song..Only YHM has a original bgm 😆

And she is extracting the max by playing the song in the bg continuously plus even naming the show after the song. 😆

@Rogerrocks: I guess only bit of similarity is 2 couples with a plain looking guy falling for the prettier sister.

Yeah Fawad & Mahira had great chemistry..I love the barish scene..Its one of my favorites:D But then, the concept is regressive & Ekta will drag the separation & MU for 5 years before the leads eventually unite only to show a 18 year leap 😆

in past she had given some amazing title tacks, esp TL's track.. i donno whats wrong with ekta..

she had poular tracks for kis desh, kitni mohabbat, tere liye and most love stories she made..

but i think may be colors also wanted the song, even in the other show of color, called beintehaa, the leads gave a mediciore and lame ashiqui pose on their cosummation night..🤢🤢

True. Humsafar was nothing new. It just had a good direction, good performances. N
Fawad and Mahira's chemistry. Though I like Fawad and Sanam's chemistry more

Yes..And the pretty sister being in love with another guy only to eventually marry the plain looking guy 😆 Thats where the similarity ends..Ekta has made the male lead abusive & insensitive as eff which is fine but the female lead is supposed to be a professor yet she bears all the insults & lets him walk all over her 😕

i loved that scene, even the one when he opens her hair clip before going to a party..

loved the scene when he tells her that he fails to hate her even after being betrayed.. the song is a beauty...

ekta as u said would make this more regressive, waise bhi she showed a similar track in kis desh, where harshad as prem was misunderstood and then heer leaves him, 6 years leap with a kid and they reunite ... 😆

YHM would have done wonders for Harshad's career , like it has for KP.

Harshad is a really good actor... but a bit unlucky ... He has done many shows and I think his biggest success so far has been Kis Desh in terms of fan following , TRPs and duration it has ran. But that show itself wasnt a chart topper and couldnt fetch awards. It didnt do what... say... BALH did for Ram Kapoor.

YHM has been a revival of sorts for KP's career... He had totally disappeared from the TV scene for a long time..

TL's title track was magic..Its one of Ekta's best IMO..Haha, i stopped watching BI ages back..The female lead cant act to save her life 😆

I think Sanam is the better actress and i love Dastaan but as a couple, i prefer Fawad-Mahira 😆
