Almost every B-Town actor has a presence on the social networking scene. From Anil Kapoor to Arjun Kapoor they are all active on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. However, one couple that refuses to jump on to this bandwagon, is Saif Ali Khan and his begum Kareena Kapoor Khan. Both are very clear that they have no intention of getting online to share their thoughts, pictures or to promote their films.
Saif, a true-blue royal, doesn't like talking about his personal life. He says, "I am not yet on Twitter. It's unlikely that I will ever join it. It's not because I am a very private person, but because I don't know what I would say... It's difficult for me to share my thoughts on a public domain."
Kareena views it differently. "Saif and I are not on Twitter and we won't ever join. I am not that kind of a person. I am lazy and can't keep posting pictures or sharing what I do in my personal life. I don't have the time or the inclination. It's very hectic for me to manage between my films and endorsements. I am not even on Instagram. My fans know whatever they need to know about me through media reports. More than being private, I am traditional. I like to maintain that starry aura. Stars should retain a certain mystery about them. If people come to know what we do every day and minute we will lose that allure and mystery. My grandfather was Raj Kapoor. I come from that kind of family where stars were different " not so out and all there in the public domain. I don't understand what's Twitter... Facebook, Instagram," she says.
