I feel like Bollywood is always bad with these really happy upbeat characters. I think Priety is the only one who does them well. other than her, I have yet to come upon a chirpy character who was not cringeworthy. They just don't do this role well or the writers don't know how to write this character well.

Shraddha was over the top here and there, but she was good in my opinion.

I don't know how to put it but she lacks something. She is beautiful, acts quite decently but something is missing which I am able to see in Parineeti and Alia, even in Sonakshi to some extent. Shraddha will have to up her game or else she will be overshadowed in each film of hers.

I think, she lacks screen presence and as they say, that X- factor. She also appears to be laid back about her career which isn't a good sign.

I will never agree with this forum's opinion!! Shraddha was perfect! She did not make me cringe at all! She played the character really well! She is a good actor! U want to cringe? watch the extroverted women of TV serials or watch Kareena's acting in khushi!

Haven't watched the movie so cannot comment much but while watching EV songs itself I felt that something was wrong.

a. She should have opted for something more substantial post Aashiqui2.

b. Was never in favor of her playing this chirpy, lively girl. Somehow I had an idea that it won't turn out well.

she sucked to put it nicely Horrible plus the eh eh eh &jokejoke was hell annoying & if that was not it she had some sort of bemari too & you were supposed to feel sorry for her but Ughh no babe infact i wanted to thank rakesh for killing her the most annoyiung chracter ever

So almost everyone found her horrible. Not surprised. Her acting sucked big time in Aashiqui 2. She could suck the life out of anyone with her lethargic acting and no doubt that's why ARK's character too committed suicide to escape her.😆

She is quite OTT esp in the beginning.

Her over-bubbliness is the sort that can give you acidity. 😆

But she has improved a lot & her face is just so camera friendly!! Quite, quite beautiful. 😳

P.S. I liked her more in the promotions they did for the movie , on tv shows, than in the actual movie 😆. She was so relaxed & natural in the tv promotions, whereas SidM was so conscious!
