Awaraapan is an underrated movie. Thats his finest movie till date. And probably the least "inspired" too.

The plot of Mohit Suri's Awarapan which also opens at the cinemas this week is generously borrowed from the Korean filmA Bittersweet Life.

Back then 😆

Mohit Suri copies Korean films a lot... then remix it to make his own version.

We should care now coz now our writers like milaz zaveri & director like mohit suri are now making BIG CLAIMS as this is their original work not copied or inspired from any film 😆

i haven't seen ISTD. i don't mind movie remakes, copies, etc.
but what i want to see , if they are going copy, at least try to better the original. try to be at least little creative and come up with some ideas of your own.

it would have been a better film if he had just copied istd completely, copying everything from other and that annoying shraddha character makes it such a average movie

Arre ghajini main aamir did way more violence HAHAHA and i believe it was a Big commercial hit

Totally agree!! I am okay that they skipped all the rape. I am even okay that they skipped the chopping the girls to pieces and cannibalism from the creepy friend. But some more violence was needed because seeing both of the films I honestly think it took away from the story. I remember The Chaser is one of my all time favorites, and although Murder 2 was not as violent, they did add violence in their own way. It really creeped me out.

Here Sid was meant to by like LBH character. he was meant to be scary for Ritesh's character and make his life a living hell. But all whatever he did to Ritesh I can see in any other fighting scene in hindi movies.

I agree with ur post on ISTD... .yes the brutality is a thing which leaves with one, they hardly given much about his Fiance, yet Jung brutality chops her, I think why it leaves mark is, they show him from behind chopping horribly as if he is cutting pieces of a chicken
I dont want to watch EV, as from trailer itself it was evident, he copied everything from ISTD, even when Sid kicks the hell out of him and tells him its not a end now and all is evident to show yes its a hopeless copy and Suri can live in denial that he had no idea unless he watched ISTD, oh come on. dont tell me he was thinking of writing Ritesh screaming in pain and crying why oh why, when sid kicks the hell out of him, BW writers havent had that kind of thinking or exposer yet, showing a criminal or psycho as a normal human (oh yes they are) and feeling pain is not something we are used to think as of yet.

yes ISTD had loop holes, esp they never showed why Jung does and wat thrill he gets out of it... that was definitely missing, both leads of ISTD and EV are not completely dark not until they are pushed to limit, he didnot make big difference there.

I am not remembering name, but there is one HW movie, which shows horrible brutality of mass murder that makes one puke
