Am I the the only one that thinks Abhishek is a talented actor?
He's done some really intense roles convincingly, and he's nailed comedy at the same them, something that even Hrithik couldnt do

I will take Abhishek any day over Hrithik. He's a very underrated actor. IMO, Abhi even looks better than Hrithik.

Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. Sons of arguably the greatest in BW, certainly one of the greatest filmmakers, actors, directors ever in cinema not just in BW but cinema and they were just terrible. Tanisha, 4th generation actress, certainly more good looking than Kajol but terrible. People may think Kajol is overrated, but I am yet to see anyone think she is terrible while Tanisha is almost universally thought so. Uday, Tusshar. These people were not just bad, they were terrible. From the background these people came especially Kapoors and Mukerjee they needed to have cinema running in their veins. I have lot more examples. Needless to say, I am thankful most of the raft of people who come in fail terribly. 100% agree with Pari.

True. He wasn't a natural actor, but he delivered whenever he worked with good directors, so it isn't like he was hopeless. And he was good at comedy.
But just delivering is not enough, you have to keep honing your talent whenever you get the chance so as to get better and better and up your game, which he failed to do IMO. Also, he made some wrong choices when it came to films. Things started going downhill after Raavan. Dhoom 2 and 3 did more damage than good to him.

I think there are two people who were hurt rather than helped by being their parents kid in BW. Esha Deol is one, Abhishek is another. Their parents were individually spectacular, even Jaya her in short career was impressive and together their parents were magic too. Abhishek is mediocre but certainly more talented than an Uday or Tushar, even a Shahid IMO. I would put him in the middle. He would have been a good character actor had he explored that part IMO.

I like Parineeti. I usually find her very upfront and chatty.

AB Jr is a very talented actor...unlucky, lazy but talented...⭐️
