In your dream she was better than Aish. Madhuri just did two songs and nothing else. The main attraction of Dola Re Dola was surely Aishwarya. Madhuri looked like aunty to Aishwarya in that song. The film should have been titled Paro. Its known as Aishwarya Rai film. Ask any sane person he will agree. Madhuri was good but its NOT her film. Its Aishwarya's film where SRK did a supporting role to her. LOL 😆

Madhuri overshadowed both Aish and SRK. Both SRK and Aish were a complete hamfest in this film. The less said about Aishwarya's acting calibre the better. And that voice maahhnn -.- Madhuri annoyed me with her orgasmic voice during her dialogues for SRK too. 😛

Aditya Chopra changed the dialogue after that arrogant SRK refused to act with Aishwarya. 😡

Veer Zaara was Chopra's third consecutive film to feature Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. Originally, Chopra had intended Aishwarya Rai to play the role of Zaara Hayat Khan, however Rai was replaced and the role was given to Preity Zinta.

Yes he intended to have aishwarya as zaara but in no way does it say that the dialogue had been changed. What i assume is that the basic plot was structured with aishwarya in mind but the nitty detailed parts of the movie had preity zinta in mind. Aishwarya was never approached for the movie so it was from the very start that the director molded the movie for PZ. At the end of the day, this movie was Preity zinta's and there is nothing that you or i can do about it, it was destined for her and all this discussion serves no purpose. Also, preity zinta and aishwarya are very close friends and she even invited her to her wedding---if she had been kicked out of the film then theri friendship would have been something like of aishwarya-ranis post-chalte chalte...but we didn't see that did we...? Even though aishwarya was considered i am glad preity took the role, but if you really hated this casting (which took place 10 years ago lol) then just talk to the yash chopra studio, what can we do?
