Ashutosh Gowariker said earlier that he will announce the leading lady in 10 days. 10 days have passed already. Still he hasn't announced anything. Kareena recently said she hasn't been even offered the film. Sonakshi said she doesn't know anything of such development. Ashutosh says he has no idea about how a certain section of the media came up with Sonakshi rumor.

Aishwarya is perfect for such period love stories. Nobody can compete her in period roles. I really hope she is cast opposite Hrithik again. They make super pair. Please God. Please make it happen.

Doubt Aishwariya is returning. Plus she'll be like Madhuri without the charm now. I'd rather see Sonakshi instead.

Well, you are wrong and she is returning to movies but it seems like she has turned down this film. But she's agreed to a couple of others

nope. she pulled it with ease in dabanng, so why not with hritik. a fresh paring should be welcomed. she is big built girl, thats her advantage when paired with aged actors.
